Inauguration of the monument to the American Film Festival Award (Deauville)

The artwork, cast in bronze by the Fonderia d'Arte Massimo Del Chiaro in Pietrasanta, was donated by the French artist to the festival as a token of appreciation for an event that has helped strengthen the bond between European and American cinema over the years. Master Karl Lagasse is also the creator of the bronze award presented each year to the actors honored at the festival.

With his contemporary and symbolic sculptural language, Lagasse sought to create a work capable of celebrating the excellence of cinema and, at the same time, Deauville's identity as an international cultural capital.

The sculpture measures 220 cm wide, 55 cm deep, and 207 cm high, and is cast in mirror-polished bronze and mounted on a granite base.
